Tonight for New Year's Eve we are staying in with my parents and having a relaxing night. My husband has a terrible cold (caught from me! but now I'm fine) so tonight will be a pyjama and prosecco party in the house. We have been watching British detective series 'Luther' over our Christmas break and it's utterly gripping! I get scared easily so have been terrified during some episodes. I have also been knitting new things and planning how to move my Etsy shop forward in 2016.
Setting and keeping New Year's resolutions has never really been my thing, but setting a few goals for 2016 that are manageable seems like a good idea. In one of my many notebooks that collects all of my ideas for website design, graphics, social media and other information has recently become a focus for new product ideas that I want to develop next year. Things change all of the time and so must my Etsy shop. Bigger and better things are on the way!
The message of 2016 should be - 'stay positive and do whatever it is that makes you happy!' I know I see that quote all of the time on Pinterest and on Facebook, but I really want to do that next year and do what I want to do. Being stressed and frustrated because I have no time to do the things that I enjoy will hopefully become a thing of the past.
Thank you to all of you who read this blog and subscribe, I know you all love knitting, crochet and crafts as much as I do. Here's to 2016! I hope it is fabulous for each and everyone of you.
What are you planning to do on New Year's Eve?
